“ My new favorite bar in charlotte. Just moved back here and I was missing an elevated craft cocktail bar that uses unique ingredients, but isn’t pretentious. This is the place and I’m so glad I found it. Cozy, relaxing vibes inside. Personable bartender always ready to recommend a drink. I actually said I love mezcal, but didn’t want something spicy and they made me a cocktail from their previous menu that I loved. Speaking of previous menu...they told me their menu gets updated every 6-8 weeks. I didn’t need another reason to return, but new drinks helps for sure. Will be back! Only thing is I don’t recommend the pretzels. They’re just a cup of pretzels that you could buy anywhere. It would have been cool if they had legitimate warm, soft pretzels. ”
“ I end up exploring quite a few bars. This bar was incredible. I enjoyed the drinks, we had 6. All were well made and very reasonably priced. We visited during their House of Krampus pop-up. The themed decor was well done, the space wasn't cramped, the movie had subtitles on Uploaded are photos of a real-time review that I sent friends while I was there and the water glass that had a rainbow effect - due to the lighting or glass shape, regardless, it was very cool! ”
“ Atmosphere: 7 stars. Drinks: 8 stars. Service: also 7 stars. There is only one other place I follow as closely for their seasonal releases and I shall not name them because this is not an ad for them. Humbug makes a "milk punch" drink that is often cheesecake themed and blows anything I've ever tasted out of the water. I'm talking strawberry, key lime, pumpkin, absolute show stoppers. They made a salt and vinegar martini drink a few months ago that came with a side car of chips. They're delicious and keep me coming back for more. No kiddos atmosphere too which is a chefs kiss, adults can just be adults for a little God I love this place. ”
“ Absolutely love this place! The service is top-notch — the staff are so friendly and genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The drinks? Amazing. Creative, perfectly balanced, and made with real care. And don’t even get me started on the snacks — they’re as cute as they are delicious! Perfect for pairing with a cocktail or just nibbling while you hang out. It’s the kind of spot you find yourself wanting to come back to again and again. Highly recommend! ”
“ What a fantastic and beautiful place to find on our walkabout. This lovely bar stands out with its nice outdoor patio that is immediately accessible from the sidewalk, but what floored me was the inside. It reminded me of a very modern yet industrial but a throwback to 1920s speakeasy look. I can't put my finger on it but I wanted to. All the decor was perfection. The bar area is open and welcoming and it leads to this back room which has a pool table and what I like to call an homage to velour Sherlock Holmes chairs. You have to see it to believe it. I can imagine how more amazing it looks at night! A visit to the bathroom made me not even wanna leave the bathroom either. Whomever decorated this place did a wonderful job. Anyway, we were looked after by Andy and Shane and went by recommendation for the espresso martini...they did not disappoint. I'm not even a coffee drinker and this was like a mini little yummy delish drink in a mini champagne glass. Worth trying! They make them strong so don't be fooled by the size! Both Andy and Shane were extremely personable and welcomed our doggos with open arms. If you haven't tried, do! ”
“ One of our favorite cocktail bars in Charlotte. Drinks are always amazing and we really like the vibe and low lighting. ”
“ This place is the perfect chill neighborhood bar. It’s nice inside, but not pretentious. You can get high end bourbon, amazingly thought cocktails, or cheap and shot with no judgement. They have great deck and pool table that is gratis. My only complaint is I don’t live closer. The best part is the service, again laid back and unpretentious. ”
“ We finally made it here after our friends and news outlets recommended. We went on a Sunday afternoon to avoid waiting and crowds. It was great, we sat at the bar, Andy and Shane were friendly and helpful in deciding what we should order. We tried several cocktails, all of them were amazing. I really like the vibe of this place, it's chill an unpretentious unlike some other cocktail bars. They have a pool table, just saying. They have a small patio overlooking the ample parking lot behind the building, garage type doors open in the front so you can sit and people watch (or car watch on the Plaza). Don't bother bringing any living human under the age of 21, yay! Well behaved adults only. We don't live far from here so we hope to visit more often but we will ride share so we can enjoy the yummy cocktails ”
